The Linguascope website contains hundreds of language games and activities developed to match curriculum requirements. The games are organised in topic areas. Each topic area is composed of a series of activities and accompanied by a printable worksheet that can be used as extension or consolidation work at the end of a lesson, or for homework.

Teachers may use the online resources with the class as a whole through the interactive whiteboard, for group work around a computer or as an individual learning tool in a computer suite. Students get a unique, interactive learning experience that is rewarding and enriching. Linguascope delivers vital curriculum in an engaging format, while promoting computer literacy. All staff and students can log in both from school and home.

Linguascope includes a range of resources and tools to make lesson preparation a breeze. In the Resources Sharing Area, teachers can:

• search for language specific resources by topic
• upload their own resources to share with other members
• have access from any Internet-ready computer to the resources, including those they have uploaded.

With over 1,800 resources available and new ones being added everyday, subscribers find this website invaluable. SCORM 2004 Compliant Content in the form of learning and assessment units can be downloaded from the website and loaded into your school‛s VLE (Virtual Learning Environment). Teachers will also find a range of free Downloadable E-Books and printable resources to use with their students.
