This past weekend I flew into Chicago for the ASCD (Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development) Annual Conference. I was looking forward to finally meeting Cathie Summerford of Fit4Learning.com, the dynamo who conducts “Action Packed Classroom” workshops for teachers. Cathie and I had chatted many times over the past six months but never really met. It was a blast to see the movements she’s choreographed to our songs. Teachers were ecstatic since ALL classroom teachers now have to start incorporating movement into their daily classes.

I would recommend Cathie’s workshop to any school district. It’s fun. It shows teachers how they can still teach the mandated standards while keeping their kids energized and moving at the same time. Check out Cathie’s website here.
