Tomorrow, July 1st, is Canada Day.

Today I took a scenic trip to see the folks at one of our largest Canadian retailers, Scholar’s Choice. The headquarters (and warehouse) of Scholar’s Choice is in London, Ontario.

I’m accustomed to long drives but this time several sports cars, zipping in and out of the traffic like loud mosquitoes, made me a little nervous.

Supplying Canadians with educational materials, the Scholar’s chain has 24 stores sprinkled across the country in Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. We are proud to do business with Scholar’s Choice. They were pleased to see me too and reported that our titles are remarkably popular with teachers and parents. Happy Canada Day!

We have extra help! Andrew, our part-time assistant (who’s great at everything) is now off school and able to help us full-time over the summer. One of his first projects will be to make sure all of our music clips (online) are in mp3 format so that they’ll play easily for everyone visiting the site. (Up until now, all of our music clips were in ‘real audio’ format which caused problems for some of the visitors to our site). A big congratulations to Andrew who graduated the top of his school and probably the top in the city. Andrew will amass more than $30,000 in university scholarships because he’s such a great scholar. We are proud to have Andrew as part of our team.
